Almost everybody knows “Tom and Jerry” well. It is one of the best known cartoon movies in almost all nations. Like “Tom and Jerry”, “Mickey Mouse”, “Donald Duck” are familiar with most young and old. We all love to watch cartoon movies. Not only kids but also adults like to watch them. Of course, carton movies have a great power. They can influence the minds of children as well as adults. Parents let their children watch cartoon movies willingly. This shows that the advantages of watching cartoon movies are great.

Most cartoon movies have been designed to display good morals, especially to children. Most of the cartoon movies are global or universal. This means that everyone can relate to cartoon movies. They also have clear messages children can connect to. Even a child, 3 or 4 years old, can understand the morals. We all know that cartoon movies are amazing. They can make us feel better. They can relax a sick child. They can make us calm when we are angry. They can make us laugh when we are sad. They can make crying kids silent. Most cartoons are funny and they make children laugh. When we laugh, our brain release endorphin. The endorphin causes us to feel better, both physically and mentally. Children could sit for hours on end glued to TV Screen. Cartoons can help kids get very first learning. There are also educational cartoons for kids. They teach shapes, numbers, colors, alphabet, fruits, food, animals and so on. Colorful animations make children interest in their studies. Animations in movies keep us entertained. So they can boost our concentration. One advantage of these movies is that we can easily realize the plots. They interpret these plots by animations. Animations are a kind of international language. Cartoon movies are suitable for every age. Even if we are adults, we can feel as children again while we are watching them. Also, cartoon movies can expose us to different languages. Thus, they help us in developing our linguistic abilities. Subtitles in movies promote our reading skill while listening. Moreover, they promote our creativity. Some painters, artists and cartoonists watch them, and create their own movies. For children, there is something magical in movies. They can develop their imagination. They can create endings. They can imagine being one of the characters. They can associate with them. They can ask questions. In this way, cartoons also develop children’s creative skills. They can see the world through pictures.

Thus, there is nothing better than a good cartoon movie to help kids understand the world. Some characters in them may be heroes of us such as Peter Pan, Aladdin, Cinderella, Mighty Mouse, Spiderman, Superman and more. Therefore, these heroes affects our behavior and development. In addition, these movies promote our long-term memory, our attention and our emotions. Thus, it is clear that cartoon movies bring lots of benefits to us.
